Chapter 57: Saving Sora

Rei and Lea approach the end of their training when they are suddenly summoned by Yen Sid, alerted by the danger. Lea arrives just in time to save Sora from becoming on of Master Xehanort's vessels. Rei, joined by Donald and Goofy, go and join the battle against the new Organization XIII and help defeat Xehanort's guardian.

Chapter 58: Thank You

Back at the Mysterious Tower, Riku successfully awakens Sora, but remains asleep himself. Sora orders everyone around, assigning them different tasks to prepare for a tea party as they await for Riku to wake up. His orders end up with him and Rei alone. Rei attempts to excuse herself to join Lea, but Sora asks her to stay. He goes up and hugs her, telling her that he met Roxas, and he showed him everything. He told him that he deserved to be his own person. He apologizes to Rei for everything she's been through.

Rei's shock turns into overwhelming relief, and she cries as she hugs back. Everyone else watches out of view, smiling. Rei repeatedly says thank you to Sora, expressing her gratitude.

Chapter 59: The Seventh Guardian

Now knowing Xehanort's true plan, Yen Sid says it's time to find gather another Guardian of Light. Rei discourages Sora and Riku from leaving, saying they can't waste a second on training. Not only that, but the two aren't great at being subtle. Kairi would go with them without hesitating, but they need to make sure it doesn't cause unnecessary problems on Destiny Islands.

Rei learns more about Kairi's life on Destiny Islands, and then they leave to return to the Mysterious Tower.

Chapter 60: Preparing for War

Now with everyone gathered, they prepare for the upcoming battle. Rei, Axel, and Kairi return to the Mirage Arena to continue their training.
